Ligue 1: "The desire to stay is there, 100%, but...", Roberto De Zerbi wants to "discuss" with the OM leaders

The Italian coach took stock at the end of his first season at the helm of Olympique de Marseille on Saturday, after the 34th day of Ligue 1.
"The will to stay is there, 100%," assured OM coach Roberto De Zerbi on Saturday evening, after the 4-2 victory against Rennes on the 34th day of Ligue 1 , while repeating several times that he had to talk with his management to analyze the season that has just ended and prepare for the next one. "I am very tired. It has been a difficult season, but I know that after five days, I will miss football," declared De Zerbi first.
"I'm going to talk to the club. We have to take a good look at this season, analyze the things I missed, because there are some, and the things that didn't go well. And we'll have to make a plan for the future ," he added. "But if you ask me, 'Roberto, what do you want to do?' I'll tell you that I came to OM without the Champions League. And I'd leave when there's the Champions League?"
I like the chaos, the controversy, the whole atmosphere. But we have to discuss how the season went.

And he continued: "The will to stay is there, 100%. But it has been a very hard season for everyone. I like the chaos, the controversies, all this atmosphere. But we have to discuss how the season went. There are undoubtedly things that the club did not like, and others that I did not like," the Italian explained, insisting that he does not want " to leave on (his) own initiative, and I have no contacts with other clubs. But we have to see what the season was like and what the next one will be. These are normal things, which are done everywhere," he also explained.
Among the points to be clarified is the summer transfer window: " It's one of those things to discuss, but there is no question of this player or this amount. Simply, we must talk about things that must be resolved and discussed to move forward better," De Zerbi added. "For OM this season, the Champions League was beyond everything. But now, we have to take a step back, analyze what went wrong and the things that I didn't like," he concluded.
